Tangaroa Blue Foundation

is an Australian not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the removal and prevention of marine debris. Our flagship program, the Australian Marine Debris Initiative (AMDI), engages communities, government, and industry in collecting data on litter found across the country’s freshwater and saltwater environments. This data is then used to trace the sources of debris and implement practical source-reduction strategies. Tangaroa Blue also delivers educational programs, including webinars on topics like greenwashing, to help the public and businesses understand how to identify authentic sustainability efforts.
