The Trash Tribe is our signature conservation project. Every year we take groups of creative and inspiring Australians on journeys to clean up some of Australia’s most polluted beaches—these beaches are all remote, making the journey a once in a lifetime experience. After spending a week cleaning the beach, the Tribe returns to their community and creates a project to share their experience. In this way, the Trash Tribe spreads the message of ocean pollution and plastic waste to every corner of the country.

We started Clean Coast Collective because we were blown away by the amount of plastics in our oceans and on our beaches. After travelling around the entire coastline of Australia we realised that some of our most polluted beaches are the ones furthest away from the city. We also realised that to truly solve this issue we all need to stop relying on disposable plastics. Our lifestyle accessories replace the cheap and toxic single-use plastics in your life with timeless alternatives. By creating a consumer movement that is more mindful in avoiding plastics, we’re stopping the flow of plastics into our oceans. But while we’re stopping plastics at the source, there are still five trillion tonnes of plastics floating at sea – that’s why 100% of profits from products sales go directly towards funding our Trash Tribe expeditions to clean up Australia’s most polluted beaches.

Welcome to the #cleancoastlife – add some plastic-free luxury to your life or join us on our next expedition.
See you on the beach, Nat + Dan
