But we believe that it's not enough just to pick up the plastic waste. We have to stop producing it. How can that be done? The Internet is full of sad videos about the consequences of plastic pollution - at the same time, the supermarket shelves are frighteningly empty if you think away all the products with plastic packaging for a moment.

There are very many campaigns aimed at changing individual behavior. That is good and very important. Everyone has to make good choices within their means. But what about the manufacturers? The ones who make sure that we hardly find anything without plastic on the shelves anymore? We want customers to be able to communicate their preferences to product manufacturers. That's why we came up with the ReplacePlastic app for smartphones. With it, anyone can quickly and easily tell product manufacturers that they want plastic-free packaging.
