Morigenos

Morigenos – Slovenian Marine Mammal Society is an independent, scientific, non-profit, non-governmental organisation that combines scientific research, monitoring, education, public awareness, capacity building and management, to achieve effective conservation of the marine environment and biodiversity.

Morigenos is run by enthusiastic people who believe each individual can contribute to a better world and positive changes. The team is composed of biologists, veterinarians, geographers, educators, chemists, etc. The work of Morigenos involves people from all over Europe and Morigenos team members are actively participating in several research projects and organisations all over the world, for example the European Cetacean Society.
Through various activities, such as Dolphin Research Courses, Adopt a Dolphin programme and various lectures, we enable anyone to take part in our work.
